Fred was a big character from early childhood. You may not know that his first career was as a hairdresser? Yes, after he cut one of my plaits off he decided to follow a more academic path. He was too young to go and is probably furious and Keith and I are too young to lose our big brother. Pre Keith's arrival Fred and I played a special game completely designed by us, for us which involved the huge oak table ( so many have sat there to enjoy great food with him I am sure). It was called In and Out the Oak Dogs and saw the pair of us crawling at increasing speeds weaving in and out of the legs of the table - culminating in one of us being caught by the other. Was great fun and very loud plus much bruising to the noddle. I also remember being escorted to the air terminal by Fred , much the same scenario of hauling trunks across London on public transport during which time Fred acquired a large carrier bag of second hand books! So THATS where the taxi money went. Cheers bro! I will miss you Fred and hope that you are safely in the arms of our adoring Mum and Dad. Rest peacefully my bro 🧡
